Check in is usually around 2pm, while check out is at 10am.
Should you wish to make other arrangements, please do so well in advance.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that cancellations within 24 hours will result in no refund made, while cancellations 72 hours or more before will result in 50% refund (or the changing of your date if possible with no refund).
House Rules
Apple-Manor is a working farm and as such care needs to be taken to to respect and honour the nature of the farm.
It is absolutely essential that farm implements (which are stored far away from the main house) are not to be played with by children or adults.
Please respect other guests, if there are any, by not playing loud music after 9pm.
Absolutely NO open fires are to be made. Please be wise and careful with indoor fires made for heat or barbequing/braaing and ensure the fires are safe and will not damage the home.
Please do not pick fruit or vegetables without prior arrangement. Fruit and veg are at different stages and even fertilizers in high doses can be dangerous.
The gate is closed and locked every night and unlocked in the morning for safety reasons. Please speak directly to ground staff if you need an arrangement made to have the gate opened.

Driving Directions
From Wakkerstroom Village.
- From Wakkerstroom Village take the R543 towards Piet Retief.
- Travel approximately 3.8km. The farm is marked by a square white board that says Apple Manor on the right hand side of the road. (At night your headlights will pick up a red reflector band between two yellow reflector bands on a pole).
- This is Hungry Horse road. Travel through the red gate (call our number if it is closed) and up the hill on a dirt road (please drive carefully this is a farm road and at different times of the year can be in varying degrees of bumpy or slippery).
- The road will split in two, take the split to the right and drive until you see the Manor House on your left. Parking for the Manor House is available there. We will usually greet you with your keys by arrangement here.
